A private family with residences in Lake Como and Sardinia is seeking an experienced Full-Time Private Chef to cater for them while they are in residence.
This position is only open to candidates who hold a valid EU passport.
The Role
The family enjoys relaxed, rustic, home-style cuisine and is looking for a Chef who can plan, prepare, and serve lunch and dinner. High-end restaurant experience is not essential; however, previous experience working within private households is required.
Responsibilities will include:
- Planning and preparing daily family-style meals
- Serving lunch and dinner
- Grocery shopping and sourcing quality ingredients
- Managing the food budget
- Overseeing the kitchen, pantry, and food inventory
- Accommodating requests and schedule changes at short notice
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and organization
The family typically spends approximately three months each year in Sardinia, with additional periods at their residence in Lake Como.
The working schedule will vary depending on the family’s location and travel plans. Split shifts may be required while on duty. The Chef will be employed on a full-time contract and must remain flexible and available when the family is in residence.

Package
- Net salary of €4,000–€6,000 per month, depending on experience
